Dr. Kelly Bruch,
Optometrist
Dr. Bruch has been providing expert eye care at Buckeye Optical since its founding in 2006 and became co-owner in 2011. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Illinois (1993) and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry (1998). Following graduation, she completed a specialized post-graduate residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at Indiana University, further enhancing her expertise in eye health and vision correction.
Dr. Bruch specializes in primary eye care and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases for patients of all ages. She has advanced expertise in specialty contact lens fittings, ocular surface disease, and dry eye management. With a long-standing interest in refractive surgery, she underwent LASIK herself in 2005 and now co-manages refractive surgery patients at our office. Dr. Bruch is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association. She has served as past president of the Central Ohio Optometric Association (COOA) and has also held the roles of Secretary and Trustee for the COOA. Originally from St. Louis, MO, Dr. Bruch moved to Ohio with her husband in 2000. She is married and has two stepsons.

Dr. Sarah Gliniecki,
Optometrist
Dr. Gliniecki finished her bachelor’s degree at Adrian College with a dual major in Mathematics and Biology in May 2012 before starting at Michigan College of Optometry. She graduated with her Doctor of Optometry with the highest distinction in 2016. She then completed a residency in ocular disease with Specialty Eye Institute, serving several cities in southern Michigan before moving to central Ohio in the summer of 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family on Lake Huron, playing with her dog, or playing board games with her husband and friends.

Dr. Meredith Kiess,
Optometrist
Dr. Kiess earned her undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy, graduating summa cum laude from The Ohio State University. She then completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at A.T. Still University and worked in pediatrics for 16 years. Driven by a passion for eye care, she pursued her Doctorate of Optometry at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, graduating cum laude. During her optometry training, Dr. Kiess was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society for academic excellence.
Dr. Kiess provides full-scope optometry services, caring for patients of all ages. Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, watching her children’s sports activities, and spending quality time with her family.
